Make that 12K
June 1, 2005I posted early yesterday
that the site got 11 thousand visits for the month of May. 11,336
to be exact. I predicted about 350 more visits from that time to
the end of the day. I just re-checked the stat counter, and the
exact figure is 12,121, or about 785 visits from early morning of May
31 to 2359H (or 11:59 p.m. for non-military-speak).
I say “about” because as statistics go, these may not exactly be
precise. For some reason, some “hits” or simple file or server
accesses may already be counted as “page visits.” Sometimes, even
Google or Yahoo search hits are counted. But perhaps this is the exception rather than the rule.
Next step: getting accurate stats for RSS readership.
Again, thanks to everyone for the support and the loyal
readership. How can we make things better for you? Feedback
would be appreciated.

Here in the States, some blogs I know that are ineresting and are getting many readers don't usually have commenters, but these blogs are definitely getting very good traffic even without big number of commenters. This is because readers find these blogs a good read, just like yours, simple and straightforward. Keep blogging!
Will look forward to reading about RSS.
