a bi-weekly blind-item-type column in the Philippine Star authored by
“S. A. Maguire” (believed by many to be Max Soliven, Philstar
publisher, himself), features Nina Lasalia’s blog, Philippine Debt Management Issues.
Ms. Lasalia was fomerly National Treasurer, but was dismissed from her
position allegedly because of her views on certain issues affecting the
Philippine securities market.
Reading through her blog, one would have the idea that it is, indeed, quite technical. But the Spybiz post summarizes the issue quite well.
